Services F.A.Q

Q. Who is the service for?
A. Willowbrook is for adults with Learning Disabilities, Domiciliary care is for anyone who needs care or support in the community. The short breaks we offer are also for anyone.

Q. How do we deal with a referral?
A. We would do a needs assessment in conjunction with other Health and Social Care professionals. If residential services are required the client will visit and meet everyone in the house.
In the case of short breaks, the client can come and visit us.

Q. Do we provide long term care?
A. Yes, those living in Willowbrook will stay until we can no longer meet their needs. Domiciliary care will continue until such time the person no longer needs support.

Q. Do we provide medical staff?
A. No, however we will support you to access medical services.

Q. What are short breaks?
A. Short breaks are undertaken in our purpose built one bedroom flat. They can consist of one over night stay to a two week stay. Support will be provide on a needs lead basis.

Q. Do we provide day services?
A. Yes we provide day services assessed on an individual basis.

Q. Do we provided emergency respite?
A. Not in its true sense, however we will endeavour to provide a service in a emergency situation to clients and their families.

Q. Do we provide care 24 hours 365 days a year?
A. Yes, in all areas of our care.
